    Everytime i read one of these alerts i'm thankful i don't use IE anymore....

    While this particular exploit is indeed making the news as an IE exploit....the facts of this exploit also should be noted by ALL surfers....irrespective of the browser they are using.

    Disabling "Hide file extensions for known file types" should be a concern for ALL users....no matter what weasel of a browser they are using.
