So, here they are all seven of them. 2 critical, 4 important, 1 moderate.

What puzzles me is the 'only important' classification of MS04-024, that fixes a Shell function vulnerability. It seems to me that this vulnerability has been exploited the last few days.
But, hey, since we're all patching the criticals, why not also patch this one ;)

Hmmm, still lacking are the criticals for my arklinux :D

After installing the updates, I have noticed that two files were modified (firewall alert) :

    WINDOWS\system32\ws2_32.dll
    MD5 - 20C6D9F9522DDA0F9A8E4B8641CA9245

    WINDOWS\system32\mswsock.dll
    MD5 - 461B467CAE39D0A2765C876B46E78A7C

Is it the same for everyone ?

(French XP + SP1 + last critical updates)

I posted the same on dsl forum but no answer yet.

    Windows 98 SE, Dutch, IE 5.5 SP2 :

The only update I've got (checked a few days ago) was for KB 840315.

NISFileCheck told me (assuming here that this was related to Q840315...):

    Application: c:\windows\system\itss.dll
    Status: Changed
    Version old: 5.2.3644.0
    Version new: 5.2.3790.185 (srv03_gdr.040410
    Size old: 122368
    Size new: 123392
    Date old: 2002-06-10 12:56:26
    Date new: 2004-06-22 11:11:52
    RMD160 Hash old: 71AC4BAFB30361A69485684D6FA769BE6F30B7FF
    RMD160 Hash new: 8814EF23ED6DF98A8EBCF6EE37104B34AF3B6079

ADinf32 Pro told a little more but for that one I have to dig deep in the logs...

RegRun Gold told me also about a change ;)

    PS-1:
Help > Info in IE doesn't show Q840315

    PS-2:
I haven't checked whether there was another for the Dutch version in the meantime.
