    Hi Ron,

(First, on a side-note, I have to tell that I only have XP-home SP3, so there was no issue on my system (installation of KB 2345886 was OK)).

Ron, which Windows versions do you use?

    When you look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2345886
it looks like that as far as Windows 7 is concerned, it only applies to Windows 7 Enterprise.
And that is what the original poster Just Bob at that DSLR-thread got as answer from Microsoft.

The strange thing is that it looks like that there are users of Windows 7, who are not using the Enterprise version, who still got that KB 2345886 without problems.

    Hi Ron and JR,

    Thanks for your postings [IMG]

My postings in this thread were just meant as a kind of an heads-up in case someone got somehow a notice that the installation of this KB 2345886 failed.

PS: that thread at DSLR is still going on about this issue.
