    I just reinstalled windows XP Pro two days ago and I looked through all my updates and I don't even see 944653.

    Considering it's now less than a week away, I imagine they're holding it for the usual Patch Tuesday.

    Since I've updated the driver concerned from the link given above (Thankyou tgell) it will be interesting to see if M$ update will detect it as being up to date.
