    The amount of Java exploits are crazy, if you can, avoid it like the plague!

    I thought it already supported 64-bit, because the process wasn't *32. Guess it has full support now.

    As for Java exploits, how many of them are for the current version?

    Install programming platform on a secured system with experienced user just for these patches? Not worth the time and effort. I have EMET on Java anyways.

    Perhaps not, but as far as "time and effort" there wasn't much of either (figure downloading a ~19MB file, uninstalling the previous version, and installing the new - end to end it was less than 5 minutes).
