Thanks, i did not know that "IE6 still has a 12% global usage share" that is almost like(more than) Google Chrome or Opera.....thought most people already upgraded to IE7 or Eight due to security reasons.

How does Outlook express work on Windows XP Pro?
    Wiffies puter is running IE8.
Does that mean that Oulook express is updated also?

outlook express has been replaced by windows live mail it will import all the emails and settings from outlook express.

im surprised IE6 still has 12% market share. microsoft should of lanched that website ages ago.

websites should be more compatible once they take out the hacks needed to work with IE6.

I don't see how they will reduce that as it is most likely pirate copies of XP.

They should drop out Windows Updates for those who still have it.

I don't see a reason why anyone should upgrade ie6 on their xp boxes.
It came with the os and should die with the os in 2014.

I dont agree with that at all.
IE6 is stopping web developers from making use of the lastest browser technologies because it still needs to work with it.

IE6 is not stopping anyone. Web developers are stopping themselves. No one is forced to write cripped non-compliant code and yet 99% of all code is like that. Even new themes for web 2.0 sites and cms like wp, joomla and such are non-compliant because people choose the easy way.
