Microsoft is killing its password manager in Authenticator to make everyone use Edge

    The more they try to make me use Edge the more I don't want to use Edge. I use a 3rd party password manager, I won't be affected by this.

    I highly recommend you guys take this to the next level. Regardless of which software authenticator you use normally there is online involvement with a mothership. Years ago I switched over to using Yubikeys that can store TOTP credentials for my needs. These keys have large 20+ passwords to unlock so when I walk around with my key it is locked solidly. However; when I connect them to my Linux computers they auto unlock via a script stored on the drive. Very fast and simple. Then there is no dependence on any TOTP software provider. Can't tell you great this works!!
