Likely unavoidable. They are probably banning all Windows 7 and 8 keys that have not already been upgraded, in which case they are probably getting some that are. I expected this when I heard they were closing that loophole. It still sucks for those affected, but it was going to happen. The issue here will be how they choose to resolve it.
