In other words, MS is throwing every XBox user the middle finger, while Sony, with their FAR less restrictive new Playstation is rolling around on the floor laughing until they choke. Remember this post a year from now. MS is making a gigantic mistake here.

What is the reason for that?

imo piracy is the reason... its huge for the xbox 360. they also will be preventing the sale freely of used games now as well

So no more exchanging or borrow games between friends?

Will Sony adopt the same policy regarding Playstation 4?

And they'll pay dearly for it in sales. They have every right to protect their products, but when you take such things too far, it bites you in the hind quarters.

The PS4 is way less restrictive. It won't be an issue on that system. Even if Sony had planned to do the same thing, they would have backed off so MS could hang themselves. That is, if Sony were thinking brilliantly. Thus far I don't see any issues.

The only real advantage i see the XBOX One has over the PS4 is the new Kinect. The PS4 is better in everything else!

Im not into console gaming but if ever purchase a console in this generation im pretty sure it would be the PS4.

The PS4 is also said to be $100 cheaper FWIW.

The only advantage I can see with the XO is the controller. I prefer the placement of the left analog stick on MS controllers, and the size is more to my liking. I also think I'll like the new D-pad more because it isn't split up like the Sony controllers, although I won't really be able to judge that until I try it out.

That said, I don't really have an interest in getting the new XO controller even for the PC. It's almost certainly going to cost more than a 360 controller (especially if it requires a new dongle), and the trigger feedback may not be supported in PC games. While the D-pad will probably be better out of the box, the 360's D-pad can be modded and I've been happy with mine.
