how do i get ERD Commander?
soon i will have a vista dvd needed for the main files.
this could be very useful for me since i am an ict technican.
the locksmith tool could of been useful recently when my friend locked himself out of vista

I'm a bit behind here, is this a part of the optimization pack which also contain the 'admin pak' tools?

 

Good tools, as I have a copy of Winternals Administrators Pak they are very familiar. ERD Commander 2005, a component of the Admin Pak and one of the many tools, is a rock solid utility.

 

I bet i've tried every conceivable method myself to either repair a corrupted registry all the way to replacing distorted files need for XP to boot properly with little satisfaction to none over the years untill ERD Commander solved the issue. It;s the very best utility CD i ever was fortunate to gain and it has rescued many windows where otherwise a lot of lost time plus frustration had me resorting to reinstalls.
