Microsoft calls time on ancient TLS in Windows, breaking own stuff in the process

    Starting in Win 11 insider this month.
    Known issues
    We have tested this change against top Windows applications, and found that the following versions rely on TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1 and are expected to be broken.... (See article for list.)

    Also worth reading poster comments which highlight the some HP printer problems this may cause.

    keyword is "disabled", it's not removed
    also mozilla disabled older TLS but user is able to re-enable it for some reason. but thats another story.
