MIA tib file

I made a complete backup two days ago. Multi vol backup. I tried to reimage with files from 3 DVDs, after SUSE install crapped the dual boot.. One Volume is missing from my backups, the remainder of the 14 are intact. What are my options other then begining the flood of tears which will surely short the MB. I am trying to locate reliable undelete tool open source to begin work on the naked HD searching for one, one 670MB file. I was/am using the Acronis 8 backup disk Win XP. Any and all suggestions please. What a Merry Christmas this turned out to be....
