    Extract:

"Patchou has brought in C2Media as a sponsor and is now bundling their lop.com software into Messenger Plus. For those of you who have never heard of it, lop.com software is classified as a trojan by antivirus vendors and as a browser hijacker by antispyware vendors."

    Be warned,

    Pieter

This is interesting because a few days ago I actually installed messenger plus to see how it works... and in fairness it seems quite a handy little addition to messenger.

I then tried a run of Spybot (I also have Spywareblaster installed) and got no reports of this lop.com thing at all.

So I presume that all my safeguards are working and I can continue to use messenger plus with no worry of spyware.

Unless someone knows different of course. ;)

The issue was that by downloading the plus upgrade , one could "support" Patchou by agreeing to the sponsor program(Lop/cancer.com) if u didnt read the fine print . Either he has removed the sponsor program or u correctly downloaded by not agreeing to the ad-on!!

    Good job! :D
