Whether we agree with war or what the Pols say-or not
the veterans have gone into places and situations most of us would never want to be,
    they deserve our respect.

They have kept the Spirit of Freedom Alive, we can do no less.

Yesterday I attended a Memorial Day ceremony at Clark Cemetery and while there visited with several friends who now take residence there.

    If you are able,
    save for them a place
    inside of you
    and save one backward glance
    when you are leaving
    for the places they can
    no longer go.
    Be not ashamed to say
    you loved them,
    though you may
    or may not have always.
    Take what they have left
and what they have taught you
    with their dying
and keep it with your own.
    And in that time
when men decide and feel safe
    to call the war insane,
    take one moment to embrace
    those gentle heroes
    you left behind.

here in australia we are told what freedom we have
    but in reality we don't
if veterans had never gone to war for money/power hungry morons on all sides
    then freedom could be attained
freedom of the press [not a word on the japanese crisis ] :thumbd:
