Members area

I was going to join the members area but I guess I cannot. My e-mail addresses all have characters in them that are not accepted (ie. - and .). I was going to trial the new product, but not being able to be a member disqualifies me from a discount if I decide to purchase. I think this needs to be looked into and changed. Thanks.

Just a note to everyone who wants to join, please make sure the username you choose only contains the following combinations of characters :-
a to z
A to Z
0 to 9
and _

If your username contains spaces, commas, !@#$%^&() etc, it will fail.

Valid emails can contain most weird characters, just the usernames cannot.

I have a similar problem ?
I just now registered....received my e-mail confirmation and placed the confirmation link in browser but it does not appear to have taken

I'll do that in case that will help.

Did you receive a confirmation email Mickey?

Once you've received your confirmation email (there will be a link to click on to confirm registration) then you will receive another email with the username you registered with along with a password to enter to log into the member area.

something happened the first time for sure as email not received. retried with different email address and username and this time it worked
