When I put CD into Rom,used to get window asking what would I like to do.
1 save to folder on computer
    2 play on mediaplayer
    3 view slide show
    4 do nothing.
Then I installed music match, didnt like and deleted it,since then whenever I load cd,the only choices I get are.Play audio using musicmatch jukebox, play audio using media player, copy music from cd,open folder to view file,do nothing. Trying to get back to original menu. Could not find any help at microsoft. If you can help thank you. o_OOS Xp

I wonder why musicmatch is still showing in the menu? You uninstalled it from the control panel?

You could always try a reinstall of Windows Media Player although I wouldn't think it would be necessary.

You might slip a cd with graphics and text on it and see what it asks you.

If you insert an audio cd only, these may be the only choices you will see.

    That's how it works here.

i also had BIG problems when i tried to uninstall musicmatch. like you, that option remained on inserting a cd. but also it still appeared on my task list and in my startup menu.
although you've uninstalled it, there are bits of it all over the place in the registry.
i had to get in touch with the company who make musicmatch to try to assist in complete removal. even after doing all they had said, there was still parts of the programme on my pc.
eventually, once i had familiarised myself with the windows registry, i was able to use registry cleaners to remove the remaining parts of the programme from my registry. since then, the above problems are no longer.
perhaps removing the musicmatch components from your registry is the solution.

do you have any registry cleaner software on your pc?

within the registry, under software, there may be various items such as mmtask and mmjb, which are related to musicmatch.

i think it would be safer to run a registry cleaner, then you can check before you remove anything.

it should usually tell you in your registry cleaner, once it brings up the list of broken links and obsolete programmes, which belong to musicmatch.
