    about update, all other my software can connect to the Internet
    i allowed connecting to the Internet in my spyshelter firewall also allowed in a windows firewall
    also i run Currports tool every time i click "update in MCShield " in Currports i see it set local address
    0.0.0.0:different port in UDP Protocol
    i use adsl modem router that my Internet connect created on it

    default windows xp look is good

    No idea why you have problems with internet connection.
    Did you enabled both MCShieldRTM and MCShieldCC in your firewalls?
