McAfee Virusscan 8i enterprise?

    I have a question concerning Virusscan 8i that I cannot seem to find the answer to. If you load the email component I am pretty sure that it will scan incomming mail. I am using microsoft outlook for my email. What I am not sure about, does it also scan outgoing emails? If not, is this important? I have looked at McAfee's website and cannot find the answer.

    Pause on-access part and send EICAR test file thorugh Outlook. If McAfee warns you,then its cheking outgoing mail. In the end,most important is inbound (incoming mail checking),but i think its checking outgoing mail too.
