The GUI is still EXACTLY the same as in 2007, except for a new splashscreen. Also I cannot discover - with a look of 10 minutes - any real new features. So I hope the made the product faster, because last year it was unbearable.

I dont know how much we can talk about this beta, but as far as i can see, McAfee has the Siteadvisor Plus incorporated into this suite, instead of the regular siteadvisor

mcafee, like panda... usually just 'improve' their technology and 'usually' keep everything the same.

the exception here, is mcafee with this years version.

i will expect to see it on their websites, stating a list of features, some stating "Improved!..............." next to them.

I saw several message posts yesterday from some user with the "McAfee" word being part of the registered user name making some kind of broadcasting message about looking for beta testers for the new McAfee software. The duplicate messages were wiped out shortly after posting. Another attempt to spam and publicize a product again.

yep, whats going on with it?

ive just been given mcafee for a year from my new ISP, so might give it a whirl.

would be nice to hear how the 2008 is shaping up, if i do try it though.... the licence is activated, i might want to save it... decisions decisions. :D
