McAfee SiteAdvisor always off

the McAfee SiteAdvisor doesnt show sites rating in search resualtes nor

it shows any color except of the gray color (which indicate the toolbar is
off)

however if i go to a site which is dangerous SiteAdvisor automticly stop the site and alert the site is dangerous , if i want to continue........

what could be the problem

maybe the antivirus i use Avira

 

You haven't stated which browser you have SA installed. Apart from uninstalling & trying a fresh install you could always go straight to the 'horse's mouth' for advice.

 

i use IE7 it used to work very well back than

but now i think somehow, some program causes this problem

as i saied i use Avira antivir

and spywareblaster, spybot

maybe it got something to do with the immunize of the softwares above

or the active shield of avira

 

Try uninstalling Spybot. I'm pretty sure it has a lot of conflicts with various programs. I don't rate it particularly anyway. Have you considered updating to IE 8?
