McAfee problems

I have the McAfee Security Suite installed. I now get a message that my current settings won't allow me to download the HijackThis file from this site. I also get a regular message that my settings won't allow ActiveX to run so some pages won't display properly. I have gone into Security Center and Privacy Center and changed various settings in the hopes of allowing the above operations to be performed. It doesn't change anything when I restart. Any advice on how to fix these security settings? Thanks.

I just noticed that you were able to download and post your hijackthis log over in the hijack cleaning forum, so I guess you were able to get McAfee's settings configured the way you wanted them.
