....using HiBit Uninstaller portable. Just occupying to much space on the hard drive.

Last reboot was on April, 15th... So, 12 days ago. Just keeps on ticking. :)

    Hi Spartan,

Thanks for the tip. I will look into it, later. It is 2.00 AM in the early morning. I need to try and get some sleep.

It was a busy little beaver during the uninstall, as shown by GlassWire, which lit up like a Christmas Tree. Good riddance to this spyware, McAfee.

This crap had to have been preinstalled on this HP laptop. See recent folder changes after I uninstalled LiveSafe.

Same here. I had the same result as @Tarnak until i ran the McAfee Unistaller Tool. I hate AV's that come with a new laptop and Dell always seems to include a free years worth of McAfee that doesn't make it past 2 days under my roof. :cautious:

Took awhile, but it is done, after running that tool that @Spartan recommended. Thank you. :)

Dell is kind of tied with McAfee they preinsall it on all their laptops. I wouldn't install McAfee even if they gave me a lifetime license for free. No exclusions option, heavy, and bloated.

Thanks, I ran the McAfee uninstaller, it took a while. Hopefully the program has been totally removed, although the functionality of my machine didn't seem to be affected after the standard uninstaller.

It may have not, but who wants left overs anyway. Good thing you run the uninstaller. Cheers!
