McAfee.com domain down?

    Right now I'm unable to open any McAfee website. The problem started after my McAfee software stopped updating. I tried both McAfee.com and Nai.com but got the same result.

    I hope they fix it soon.

    Thankfully my McAfee product could update after I posted this thread. That means they got some sort of contingency plan working for now. I think McAfee should pull up their socks. It speaks bad for the security behemoth.

    Also note that the SuperDAT file you can download for offline updating, is signed with a certificate which has expired! They still did not update it.

    What is wrong with McAfee? My sister-in-law has new Dell with Win. 7 64 bit. She got a task bar notice of a McAfee update. When she clicked to install all he__ broke loose. She had to boot into last know good configuration.

    Maybe the outage had something to do with the Intel buyout. Hopefully Intel will do good things with them. At this point I wouldn't run it for free.
