McAfee 2006 AV

My local Best Buy, a computer store chain has a deal. After rebates, the virus scan 2006 and the 2006 firewall plus is about $5. Really tempting.

Your experiences, take on this AV or firewall

They run very smooth on my brothers' Celeron 2.5 256mb RAM.
I would say both are first class.

 

I noticed you have basically the same question in the other firewall forum. I use both VS 10 and PFP 7. They both perform very smoothly on my computer. I've been using them for about a month with no problems. For that price, I'd say go for it.
