    I am surprised, it is in fact snappier. Though, I guess Maxthon now shares a lot of code with Chromium as Blink is tightly integrated with the Chromium project (AFAIK).

    Also, the font rendering has changed slightly, some old quirks solved.

    Well, hopefully that bodes well for improved security. It is snappy though!

    The default page zoom will not save and goes back to 100% the next time with this update.

    An update has been released, which should fix the page zoom issues, amongst others.

    Anyone know how to update the built-in flash player in Maxthon?

    Go to the Maxthon installation folder, there's a DLL there for Flash player (NPSWF32.dll) in the Core folder (WebKit). Replace this with a newer version and you should be okay.

    While I no longer use Maxthon, it is still one of my favourite browsers and much better than IE, Chrome or Firefox in my opinion.
