    Hi,
I have the very latest update of NOD32 V4, I downloaded it today.

I'm getting in the main NOD32 Window.
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    Maximum protection is not ensured.

Analysis of application protocols will not function.

An error occurred while starting services. Analysis of Application
    protocols (POP3,HTTP) will not function.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------

I uninstalled the previous version, and deleted a few leftover files in C:.

Then I re-started the PC and installed the new update.
I changed only a few settings in Advanced mode.

Then I got the "Maximum protection is not ensured". It was that
there were Vista updates to download, that I did and now I get the above problem.

I don't know what to do about this problem to be honest, I am thinking of a re-install but I'd like to try to fix it because if it occurrs again I'll be able to deal with it.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello,
did you perform a clean installation of EAV 4.0.467? Does disabling self-defense and anti-stealth followed by a computer restart make a difference?

Re: Maximum protection is not ensured - resolved

    Hi Marcus,
Yes, it was a clean installation, I completely uninstalled the previous version.
I did a couple of tasks that had nothing to do with NOD32 then I rebooted and NOD32 is working, I did 3 more reboots to "confirm" and it
    continues to work.

Thanks for your quick reply, much appreciated.
