MateWatcher

Yahoo Antispy found MateWatcher on my system. I was up to date with Spybot, Lavasoft, Spyware Blaster and Windows Defender but none caught it. Apparently commercial keyloggers like this are not always targeted but documentation on the MateWatcher site says this can be installed remotely and it is a real threat.

BTW-YAS removed the software only after about 12 minutes! I had stopped it early a couple of times until I read a post on their forum about how long it takes to remove this malware.

I knew something was wrong when I sent an email through Outlook but the task bar would say it was sending 2 or more messages. I suspect this was Matewatcher sending info out.

I hope this is something the javacool group can block.
