"I had some moments of brilliance," Navratilova said. "But they were few and far between, unfortunately."

This says it so well. ...I can almost remember an expression about spirit something or mind something but the body not being willing? Does anyone remember?

Does the spirit ever acknowledge things aren't the same any more?

Is it:- The Spirit (or Mind) is willing but the Body is weak.
And NO!....The Spirit should NEVER acknowledge that things aren't the same anymore....Life is and always will be whatever you make of it.
The loose translation means that although bits are starting to fail and drop off your body, your mind continues to feel as though you were still 20...It's a trick that Nature plays on one.....Bummer. :D :D

    Cochise, :D (Believe me, I know. ;) :-* )
