    Hello amondc,

    Yes, you are infected.

Do a Ctrl+Alt+Del and look for this process and End Task it if you see it:
    winvl32.exe

If you don't have Adaware yet, download it from here:(don't run yet, but I do want you to open it and check for updates first, then close it)

    http://www.download.com/redir?pid=1...=8022&dlrs=1&destUrl=/3001-8022-10214379.html

Download and install APM from: http://www.diamondcs.com.au/index.php?page=apm

Close all windows except HijackThis and fix these lines:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\vfouz.dll/sp.html#96676
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\vfouz.dll/sp.html#96676
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = res://vfouz.dll/index.html#96676
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = res://C:\WINDOWS\vfouz.dll/sp.html#96676

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FCA478C5-66CE-9CAB-6011-3194DCF234A8} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\apigz.dll

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winvl32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\winvl32.exe

    Then start APM.
In the upper window select explorer.exe
In the lower window find and rightclick C:\WINDOWS\system32\apigz.dll
Select Unload DLL and click OK on the prompts that follow.

    Reboot and scan with AdAware.

Reboot and run HJT again and post a new HJT log here.
