Some reason I get permission errors while trying to uninstall NOD32 from local admin or domain admin account.. Tells me I do not have permissions to disable the service as local admin.. I cannot log in to safe mode because this is a remote machine.. Therefore I cannot do a manual uninstall.. NOD32 has dissapeared from Add/Remove programs..

The Installer has insufficient privledges to modify this file: C:\program files\eset\eset nod32 antivirus\msvcp80.dll

When trying to update from 4.0.314 to 4.0.424

    logged in as local administrator

Did you try to take ownership of the file/directory?

Any update on what causes this issue? I've had it happen before on my personal machines at home.
