Manual installation of TrueImage Agent

    Could anybody tell me the steps to manual installation of TrueImage Agent.

    I copied these files in C:\Programs\Acronis\TrueImageAgent:

    And these two files in C:\Windows\System32
    relog_ap.dll
    snapapi.dll

    Then I added settings in registry under:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\AcronisAgent]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\AcrSch2Svc]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_ACRONISAGENT]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_ACRSCH2SVC]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls]

    Of course I modified registry settings to path:
    C:\Programs\Acronis\TrueImageAgent

    On computer two services started OK (Remote Agent and Scheduler)
    I can connect to this remote computer with True Image management console, but when I select CreateImage and wizard is starting it is written:
    "E000101F4: Cannot find the necessary Acronis True Image modules. Please
    reinstall Acronis True Image Agent."

    Do you know what is missing or what is wrong?

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    First of all, please be aware that the manual installation of Acronis components is not officially supported and so we will not be able to provide you with the assistance in case you will encounter any problems using Acronis Agent installed in this way.

    However, it looks like SnapAPI module is not installed on the machine you try to install Acronis Agent on. Please download the latest version of Acronis drivers and install it with disabled logging. It should solve the problem.

    If that does not help then please install Acronis Agent in the way described in section 3.2 of Acronis True Image 8.0 Enterprise Server for Windows and Acronis True Image 8.0 Corporate Workstation User's Guides.

    If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.
