Appears to be a new free competitor. :)

    Home page: http://msecuredatalabs.com/

Looking through it's folder I found that it uses the Ikarus engine.

"Users requiring an effective antivirus software package will find there are numerous benefits in our antivirus solution that covers all known & unknown security threats"

From what I can see this is just a standard AV scanner, unless there's some hidden magic to justify this outlandish claim o_O

It does use Ikarus so I guess thats a plus. In the GUI though it mentions having an internal sandbox of some sort.

Ikarus is a top grade scanner for sure.

I'd be interested to find out more about this sandbox.

Good Evening ! Something odd happening ! When I click on any of the links on the Home page nothing pops up...it just reverts back to the existing page. And I also can't locate a Buy now page. Maybe it's all Free. This to me is a call to be suspicious and wary. Hopefully I'm wrong but when I clicked on the about us link there's nothing concrete in informing who the people are and there supposed industry experience. Merely generalizations such as we are individuals with many years of industry experience. Doesn't give specifics...merely generalizations. Sincerely...Securon

No it is just a trial version as posted here by SourMilk and Softpedia say the same.

It's been posted here that it is using the Ikarus engine, so I see no reason for there to be anything questionable about it. As for website, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until I have any evidence to suggest otherwise and presume that website is not complete yet.
