Hi all, So been a customer of Malwarebytes Premium for some time now. Now noticed they have introduced "Malwarebytes Premium Plus" which includes the VPN feature. Would you guys recommend paying out the extra cash for the VPN or whether not to bother with it? Thank you
Hello @n13 Consider monitoring the posts of @Thankful in the Newegg.com AV Specials subforum for deeply discounted MB5 Premium Plus licenses. HTH
If you are involved in illegal or immoral activities, then you might want a VPN. If you frequently travel outside the country, you might need a VPN as many sites "back home" you might want or need access to may block access from foreign IP addresses. If you believe Big Brother, Microsoft, or ET is tracking your every move, attempting to control your life, you definitely need a VPN! If none of the above apply, and you make sure sites you visit connect via a secure link (https), then you most likely do not "need" to use a VPN. Regardless, if I felt I needed one, I would not pay for one. I would use one of many decent free VPNs out there.
Does Malwarebytes use there own in house VPN or is it a relabeled VPN? I don't use MBAM's VPN. I see when MBAM service connects via Mullvad.net is shown...
I have a Premium lifetime subscription. So, all I have to do is download Malwarebytes Privacy VPN, pay the yearly price of $40.00 and I'm good to go? My Mullvad license just expired and since Malwarebytes VPN is based on Mullvad and half the yearly price it's a no brainer to me. Also, if I decide to use another VPN, will I lose my Malwarebytes lifetime status? Thanks
That's OK. To use MB VPN, I will lose my lifetime license. Greedy? Like many of us, supported MB way back when. Now... Thanks
What are you talking about? Why do you think you will loose your lifetime subscription to MB? You can use whatever VPN you want to buy.
I'm talking about installing MB VPN within MB. That's what the topic is about. Porthos is a Mod. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/top...-subscripers-left-out-in-the-cold-to-add-vpn/ Anyway, going with IVPN again as they have it for $60 Standard 1yr. Tried Muli-hop with Mullvad but slowed Internet down. Robert
