    Hello Firebolt059,
Depends on who you ask. Since they are free programs, I personally would choose the program that gives the best support for users of their product.

I uninstalled Spyware Doctor and did not renew the license because its seemed quite heavy and slowed down the PC quite a bit.

I have licenses for both SuperAntiSpyware Pro and MalwareBytes AntiMalware Pro. I will use both for on demand scanning and I may turn on MBAM for realtime protection occasionally, but I use Sandboxie, DefenseWall Firewall , and Panda Cloud and I don't think I need MBAM realtime.

Its Sandboxie that gives me the most confidence.

MBAM but I think you should read the rules first.

I honestly can't think of a good reason for using Spyware Doctor.
After version 5 I dropped it and never looked back.

If you have a good AV/suite, you don't need additional antispyware software.
I would recommend getting a good imaging setup (for example, Acronis), it's worth the money.

A good but long read: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=252253

I used SUPERAntiSpyware & MBAM as on-demand scanners for a while. I have used SAS for about 18 months now & I used MBAM for about 13 months. Eventually I uninstalled MBAM as it was prone to false-positives. I suppose MBAM & SAS together would be a really good combination though. Just keep an eye on MBAM!

    I'd use Malwarebytes + Superantispyware

MBAM upfront with SAS as on demand scanner. MBAM uses quite a bit of RAM (mbamservice.exe curently at 65.8 MB) but it does not seem to slow anything down with 4 GB on my machine. It also has IP blocking.
