    Guys I was recently checking out AV Test results, and once again Malwarebytes didn't perform that well. So why is everyone so stoked about this product? Do you guys see it as your main AV, or perhaps as a secondary scanner? :doubt:

    Agreed. Such a product should also be able to detect vbs malware (VERY common in the wild) and be able to recognize and prevent diverse types of malware persistence mechanisms.

    MB fails on both counts.

    Yes, I mean what if you're tricked into running malware from some online source? And what if you run malware from external drives? Malwarebytes should improve their behavior blocker, actually I don't know if it even has one at the moment. I do know that it has got a dedicated anti-exploit and anti-ransomware component. But the ability to block malware "post-execution" is also important.

    Edit: A possible regression has caused CU 1.0.1015 to be superseded by CU 1.0.1017.

    There is no "No thanks" option here. I instead quit MWB through system tray but apparently the trial was already activated..
