Clean install v3.1. Systray icon right click on MB now has Add Web Exclusion for a blocked website. Everything else working fine. Just want an icon to reset back to 0 in Protection History and maybe in About Definitions date and version(s).,

    Win 10 Pro x64 Version 1703

Question- I don't see Add Web Exclusion. Do we only see that when a website is blocked? I have 3.1.0.1716

In settings click Exclusions. Then add and select Exclude a website. At least that option is there in 3.0.6.

Yes. Go to here http://iptest.malwarebytes.org/ and when MB blocks the site, right click on MB's icon in the systray and you will see the Add Web Exclusion.

To get rid of that address from MB in the systray, add it then remove it from the Exclusions.

Doing manual exlusions for installed software is just too much of a hassle to be worth it in my opinion. There are not only folders to be exlucded, but also registry keys.

Adding manual exclusions would be fine for folders containing installers for PUPs for example.

    Yes :thumb:

By the way, is anyone seeing differences between this latest and the 3.1.1.1722 beta?

I had to install version 3.1.2.1733 twice. The first in place update would not connect to the service. The second install (without an uninstall) worked.

As much as I like Malwarebytes 3 concept and protection, I dislike its impact on my machine, the slowdown is massive and DNS resolution latency is too much while real time protection is enabled.

Oh well, maybe it will get better in the future :'(

Clean installation here after using their latest mb-clean.

On one machine this version kept telling me protection was out of date. After trying about a dozen times it finally updated.

That does not sound good at all. It does not seem like mb3 will ever be any good. I will stay on mb2 as long as i can.

Can't believe it but I have Malwarebytes on 5 computers and all has been well for weeks.

That's why you don't see me whining and screaming on the Malwarebytes forum.

3.1 is working fine on 2 pc's so far (installed yesterday). Did not have any problems with MBAM 3.0 for several weeks previously.
