This version now introduced a new problem; Updates: Out of date and won't download them. 1075 worked fine. Restored again, should have known.
Someone else has the same problem on their forums. They love to collect those logs even when the problem is obvious, red flag for me.
Malwarebytes is becoming like Microsoft. Beginning not to trust.

My machines seem to be updating OK but how would one find out what the latest definition version is?

Yeah, I know that but I mean how do I know what is installed is the latest. Isn't there a URL to check the latest version? I thought there was anyway.

I know with Norton I can check what the latest version is and download it manually if I want. I found a site that has MBAM definitions, but the latest they had was 23th of March, and not for MB 3 anyway.

Yeah, you are right. Been, like everybody else, more concerned with all the modules working properly, as well as the core elements, that did not bother to check to see about definition(s) dates and versions. Another missed inclusion by MB's development team...no way to reset Protection History back to "0" and now this.

It's the little things in life that makes a difference! That's why MB v3, in it's current incarnation, is just NOT a superlative product. Or in their words, Awesome.

    Robert

P.S. MS Defender shows all the definition dates and versions. Wait until Win 10's Anniversary Update; Win Defender will be so much improved.

Be careful - this is NOT for Vista x64. Per MBAM, " Please note, this BETA version should not be installed by anyone running Windows Vista 64-bit. There;s an issue that we're working on with Vista x64, so for now you should simply skip this beta."

WEll the latest build lasted a few days anyway. The web protection just turn off out of the blue and can not re-enable it nor does a reboot work.

EDIT: decided to retrace steps of anything new I did today and I had installed NVT registry guard service and so I did the uninstall.bat, rebooted and now my web protection is back. will have to reinstall NVT's tool and see if it happens again. It doesn't happen right away.

Posted on MB's Comments and Suggestions section as follows.

Why in 'About' there is no CURRENT definition(s) date and version? Every software of this type has this information...it's just a given!

How many little things you people have not included or just plain forgotten:

    1) Above.
    2) No way to reset 'Protection History' back to "0".
    3) Have to go through the Dashboard to exclude a blocked website instead of directly from the Blocked Website alert.

    Incredulous,

    Robert

I've read that there focusing on the major problems first then they will address the minor stuff later.

I know and that's how it should be. That's why I posted in Comments and Suggestions.

Although, IMO, it should have been incorporated in v3 from the start.

The latest beta would not update for me on two machines so I've uninstalled it and gone back to MBAM 2 which also seems to be having problems contacting the server. Anyone else, or am I special?

I'm sticking to V2 for now, if they haven't sorted it out by 2018:p....I'll use ZAM exclusively.

You'll have to switch to ZAM much earlier :)
MBAM v2 will be soon EOL, 3 months to go:
