I suspect what is released on 22nd will just be the special beta that is available now. So there will still be some bugs.

Pling_man I so hope you are wrong, but if I had to bet, it would be with you. Their track record on this is pathetic.

My final decision made after frustration of messing with MBAM for so long - just abandoning it. It's not worth the effort and time to try to see if they get it right! Moving on for real this time - no more screwing around with it. Good luck to you folks still being loyal customers. Bye, bye MBAM!

It's still installed on both my computers.
On primary machine: Does not start with Windows, all protections disabled so only really use it like on-demand MBAM 2.
On secondary machine: Enabled, anti-exploit only.
Will leave it like that for now and install any updates, but I am increasingly concerned by some posts I'm reading here.

Why be concerned? Some people are not willing to wait and others are. Waiting is not a problem for me and apparently not for you either. Different strokes, different folks....

Well maybe not concerned :), just wondering if it's worth having MB3 on either machine, maybe just MBAE permanent beta on secondary machine.

Why be concerned? Are you kidding me? How long I must wait? With new release, nothing but more problems,

IIRC, that is intentional. Only the applications you add are editable, not the defaults that come w/MBAM.

Who does not expand or enhance on a security product(s) I always do. Nobody on this forum\ does that ...they always 'harden' [never on default] though knowledge and experience...that's Security . Period!

You say, IRC, why do I or anybody need to go that route? Why does MB$ not make it available? See...

    I know that.

But, why? User defines what they want to do? Shouldn't it! I guess not in your world...you let the software tell you what to do ...how, when, why, everything...

Friend, I did not say you should wait. I only observed that you have decided not to; that's your choice. I don't mind waiting and that's my choice.

I don't believe MBAM will end the life of v2 in June if v3 is not fixed by then. I don't believe they would be that stupid to do that, then again who knows, look what they released in v3. :argh: :argh:

They could use the word "Awesome" twice if they fixed it, "Awesome! you're protected" and "Awesome, MBAM! is finally functioning correctly"

I do agree. But, to each their own! The last time I said "Awesome" was in the '70's...maybe.

Surely that's enough time for them to fix the bugs. If not, then it would be a logical choice to not end support v2 then. If v3 reamains buggy, and support ends for v2 then I can understand people ditching MBAM, but while v2 is still supported, then to me it seems pretty silly to stop using it just because v3 is buggy.

With Exploit protection on, mbae64.dll is not injecting into browsers running in SBIE according to process explorer.
Only fix is to turn off Exploit protection and back on, then it shows in Process Explorer.
