    In Opera, kaspersky's online scanner is run from a temp dir. I really like how they implemented this feature.

    It uses Java, however. I know some doesn't like Java installed in their system. I personally don't have a problem with it. :)

    It doesn't leave crap on your computer..that was my only point.

    I have no probs with using Java either.

    Well, it did leave temporary files (the signatures and other program files) on my system even after I'm done using it.

    Thats when CCleaner comes into play -- deleted with one click -- temp files are hardly an issue.
