    Hi,

    Avira detects the md_setup_1.1.1_b2.exe as DR/Dldr.DNSChanger.Gen. :p
I have uploaded the file to Avira as false positive.

I have also a question about MD.
Are there plans for additional translations?
Because there are a lot of translations for Registry Workshop available.

    Cheers

one more thing, after i allow all my programs with the learning mode i select silent mode and lock down my system which is good for new bad entries, let say malware wants to install in your system it will be denny any services or extentions that may contain viruses,so it is a special feature preventing the installation of malware:thumb:good job Malware defender.plus computer remains fast with no problems.

Yes, Malware Defender does have password protection. You can set a password for its User Interface by clicking on Tools, Set Password.

Are you running Malware Defender along with DefenseWall (in your sig) at the same time?

    Great HIPS.

However i am occasionally experiencing periodic CPU usage spikes to 97% and maintaining that rating, is there another setting i might be missing that can draw down such spiking with to ease this CPU jump?

Otherwise, very pleased with Malware Defender.

I experience the same behaviour for about 1-2 minutes about after I boot my PC, then it seems to settle down.

My appreciation Antarctica for that confirmation. Seems it scales the CPU up but indeed does taper off in time.
