Do you need a license to beta test this?

and after having 30 days with 2.5.0? (longer ago now)
2.6 beta starts - and finish same second.
no chance to test new features :/

Related to the new drop-down list for "Rule type:" at the prompts.

If there are no plans to add more options, I think a single checkbox for "Create temporary rule..." would also be sufficient.

If it is unticked, a permanent rule will be created.
If it is ticked, a temporary rule will be created.
Both can be described at the single checkbox.

    Cheers

After testing one version for 30 days it should be apparent whether it's a product you want to purchase. There's really not much difference between consecutive releases.

Great work, now i think there is time to skin MD a bit, for some eye candy. Like Comdo. Just my opinion.

    I assume you mean Comodo.
But should MD really look like chicken in tomato sauce?

    No. :isay:

One thing I like very much with MD is its straightforward GUI, which looks a bit like most Sysinternals tools.
IMHO there is really no need for GUI bloat.

    Cheers

a license is planned - but not in february - not possible.
i started with 2.44 and shortly after 2.50 cause 2.50 had fixes for win7.
testing time was gone right on the 29.1.2010 - 2 days ago <gnmpf>
was just a question with legal purpose...

I think I miss the old radio buttons, but maybe it's just that I need to get used to the new drop-down dialog. o_O

I like the current GUI. However, I do no begrudge other users having other choices of "skins." It might even increase sales. Even Ilya finally gave in & provided skin options for DefenseWall's new version (now in advanced beta).

Xiaolin, why this change? If mdhook.dll is currently enabled, should I disable it?

Re: Malware Defender 2.6.0 final is released

Some special programs can't be started when this feature is enabled. And some people do not like a dll be injected into all processes. So I changed the default setting.

If you do not encounter any problem, it's not necessary to disable it.
