Quite impressive that such a drastic protection on close to all domains has such a low impact (actually close to none).

Respect Xiaolin, it keeps getting even better.:)

Thank you all for the support:)

Malware Defender 2.3.3 beta2 is released.

The beta version is available for download at http://www.torchsoft.com/download/md_setup_2.3.3_b2.exe

    what's new since beta1?
    - Fixed a bug that cannot delete in-use files on exFAT formatted USB disk.
    - Fixed a bug when handling environment variable string in file paths.

    About environment variable:

Malware Defender handle environment variables automatically. The environment variable string in file paths will be unexpanded when the rule file is saved, and the environment variable will be expanded when the rule file is loaded.

The following environment variables are supported.

    %TEMP%
    %APPDATA%
    %USERPROFILE%
    %ALLUSERSPROFILE%
    %ProgramFiles%
    %SystemRoot%
    %SystemDrive%

yea it is lighter than D+

I can see in these forums that more people are now beginning to see the light and seeing how good MD really is.

Thanks for the new build. Running well for me on XP SP3, Vista SP2, and Windows 7 RTM. No BSODs thus far. Is there a way to duplicate the BSOD on Windows 7?

    Running perfect thanks xiaolin :thumb:

I'm "slowly" getting the hand of MD, i'm like a learner driver behind the wheel of a Ferrari.

PS. Does anyone know how to totally replace regedit with Registry Workshop?
