Just starting using this. Can I install over 2.2.2?

Finally an app that is similar to the old Tiny Firewall.

One suggestion would be for MD5 checking and updating like Tiny could (from systray).

    Keep up the great work!

Was having problems with my system running very slow with 2.2.2. I had to uninstall it. There are no problems so far on my machine with the 2.3.0 beta.

Xiaoling, Avira GmbH ?? (Antivirus) and M$ mdm.exe (Machine Debug Manager) are not verified in 'Processes'. Verified for Avira in 'Kernel Modules'.

Just love the ability to create rules from everywhere. Even Tiny was not this granular. Besides MD5 checking and updating sure wish could be able to hide files/folders (hidden) but being able to specify what app(s) can access them.

    Example:

    1) Hide RoboForms passcards folder from everything including Explorer.
    2) Allow Firefox/IE to access it.

Sorry if this was covered before but I am new to MD.

Could you try to verify the files with other program such as Sigcheck (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897441.aspx) or process explorer?

You can create global file rules to deny access to the folder, and create private file rules in Firefox/IE to access it.

    Thanks,
    Xiaolin

    Thanks Xiaolin.

Not hidden but nothing including Explorer can access the files. Only IE, Firefox and Roboforms are allowed.

You can block any thing you want INCLUDING Explorer access to certain files as well if you wanted.

And thanks xiaolin for the updates.
