Malicious apps with >1 million downloads slip past Google defenses twice

    Thanks Ronjor, and Google is really doing a bad job. I still wonder why you can not block apps from getting certain permissions, bad design if you ask me.

    Which android antivirus have heurestics ? Would they have caught this ?

    Yes correct, with the new Android, but it should have been possible on old versions too. And you should be able to block stuff straight away, without getting questions about needed permissions. I still need to upgrade to Android 6, let's see how things go.
