I've written a review of MakuluLinux 5 32-bit edition with Xfce desktop, a Debian-based distribution, tested on a laptop with Intel graphics and SSD, covering live session and installation attempt aborted due to dangerous installer options, including look & feel, network connectivity - Wireless, Bluetooth, Samba, multimedia playback - Flash, MP3, HD video, installation with too many options and data-risky settings, customization and visual styling, desktop effects, applications, overall system behavior, stability, performance, suspend & resume, many problems and glitches like too much clutter, conflicting options and languages, and more. Have fun.

Wow, an installer that makes Anaconda look utterly decent. That's a surprise.

Thanks for testing but too gaudy, too much random program customization.
Will likely run stable when installed indeed but who needs such a specific distro?
The dev has skills and given the first pic and stuff like icons, no bad taste but his taste is everywhere. Seems way too 'Ultimate-just-for-me'.
