Major problems with Firewall after updating to 8.2 iTunes

    Hi,

Well as an iPhone user I’ve upgraded iTunes to latest (8.2) version in order to make it compatible to the upcoming iPhone OS 3.0 update.
Everything went fine, until the first restart.
After Windows boot and log in it said I do not have any network connection. This was weird so I’ve checked all my cables and router and stuff… everything working fine, plugged in..etc. Ok did another reboot.
Now ESET Smart Security 4 said I have some firewall issues… it cannot start the required services due an unknown reason… fine… I’ve tried to update ESET to the latest version but it did not solve anything… next I tried to uninstall iTunes but still no luck. Finally I had to make a system restore to the state before upgraded iTunes. Everything went back to normal… I’ve repeated the whole process with the same results.

Any ideas about where can I dig more information about this unknown firewall issue and the service that Smart Security cannot start? I've tried windows event log but did not find any useful info there.

    OS: Windows Vista x64 Ultimate

UPDATE: A screen shot of ESET:

    Thanks

This looks sort of like the SP2 problem, restart your system.

    Hello,

Is Apple's Bonjour (mDNSresponder) service running on your computer? If so, does stopping the service make a difference?

    Regards,
