    Hi,
I live in Israel, and in the last few days there has been a major spyware storm in the country. Apprently, large companies used torjan horses to spy on their competitors. Among the arrested are CEOs of several large companies, private investigators and the inventor of the trojan himself.

Isn't that what's spyware for, then? Why else use it?

    Hi,
It's obvious, but the major arrest is not so obvious. They probably did not expect to get nabbed. This is an important milestone. You have nobby CEOs and rich guys sitting now in police stations, getting investigated, computers and documents are getting confiscated, the perpetrators are being punished for their evil deeds. I thought this could be interesting. I'm not here to evangelize the uses of spyware.
    Cheers all,
    Mrk

:) Sorry, you're right of course, but usually spyware is used for spying on individuals. Using spyware for espionage is quite inventive. I really like this posting of yours !
