Could some kind person tell me why I can't D/L Macromedia Flash Player please?....

Every time I try it says it has 'Downloaded Successfully' but it hasn't...so anything I click on that requires MFP just tells me to D/L it??!!.....

And just to make it interesting.....I'm getting this Error message now....

    Cheers, Cochise...Macromediadead in Manhattan..

The flash player is for browsers, to view flash movies, games online.

Are you having trouble viewing some video files? this could be down to codecs

    (check your pm's)

I have the same problem. You prompted me to investigate. My software restriction policy blocks the following:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Download\Download.exe

When I allowed it, it installed. Maybe one of your security softs is blocking it.

try using another browser to download it; but since u mention WMP i think its a problem of codecs as betauser2 suggested.
