I have had Macrium for a while and have recently switched over making differentials instead of incrementals, but I think I am doing it incorrectly.

When choosing the mring file I am selecting the latest one made and so creating an incremental of the last differential image. Maybe I should be choosing the initial file instead to create a differential. Perhaps I should be working off the xml file but feel happier choosing the file manually.

I don't use scheduling as it is not necessary for my work.

    Any advice appreciated.

Yes for differentials you would always choose the base image. If you use the definition files, when you run them you can just select Full Incremental or Differentials

Thanks Pete - that's clear now.
