This is a well-designed Ubuntu GNOME 3 derivative inspired by the MacBuntu - visually beautiful with a menu that evokes Mac OSX on Linux:

Luninox. The review for the first version already posted on the Net - rated it as awful. As it is, the developers took all the criticism to heart and executed a tremendous number of fixes and made everything usable in Luninox 12.00 - which corresponds to the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS version.

Would Mrkvonic like it? When you have almost 2GB worth to install it better offer more than stock Ubuntu. The only niggle with it is the live session boots up for some weird reason with a blue Ubuntu - yes, you read it correctly - splash screen! But then you see the above desktop.

Impressive? That's why a review is called for. Alongside the Chinese Deepin, this is a worthy candidate for a look at the work done to bring GNOME 3 and whatnot out of the Dark Ages!
